Overview

Export task breakdowns from Projan plans to Trello as cards with descriptions and checklists, and import existing cards as conversation context.

Prerequisites

• Trello account with access to the target board
• Projan team admin or individual account

Setup Steps

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Trello
2. Click “Connect Trello”
3. Authorize the connection on Trello’s consent screen
4. Select a default board during export

What Data is Accessed

• Board and list names
• Existing cards (for context import and deduplication)

Data Storage

• Encrypted access token

Disconnecting

Go to Settings > Integrations > Trello > Disconnect.

Token is purged immediately. Previously exported cards remain in Trello unaffected. You can also revoke access from Trello > Settings > Applications.

Troubleshooting

“No boards found”

• Check that the connected account is a member of at least one board

Hierarchy mapping

• Trello has no native task hierarchy; epics become lists or labelled cards, and subtasks become checklist items

Rate limits

• Trello limits API throughput; larger exports are queued and retried automatically
