Overview

Export task breakdowns from Projan plans to ClickUp lists within your workspace hierarchy (Workspace > Space > Folder > List). Tasks are created with descriptions, tags, and status mapping.

Prerequisites

• ClickUp workspace with list access
• Projan team admin or individual account

Setup Steps

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > ClickUp
2. Click “Connect ClickUp”
3. Authorize the connection
4. Select your workspace

Permissions Requested

ClickUp OAuth grants full workspace access based on your user permissions. Projan only writes to lists you explicitly select during export.

What Data is Accessed

• Workspace, Space, Folder, and List hierarchy
• Existing task names (for deduplication)

Data Storage

• Encrypted access token

Disconnecting

Go to Settings > Integrations > ClickUp > Disconnect.

Token is purged immediately.

Troubleshooting

“No lists found”

• Check that you have access to at least one Space and List
• Verify folder permissions in ClickUp

Rate limits

• ClickUp has strict rate limits (100 requests/minute)
• Larger exports are queued and processed automatically

Subtask hierarchy

• ClickUp does not natively support subtask hierarchy via API
• Parent task information is included in the task description instead

Categories not appearing

• Categories are mapped to tags in ClickUp
• Priority is encoded as a tag (ClickUp priority field not used)
