Overview

Export task breakdowns from Projan plans as items on Monday.com boards. Tasks are mapped to board items with column values for status, priority, and descriptions.

Prerequisites

• Monday.com account with board access
• Projan team admin or individual account

Setup Steps

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Monday.com
2. Click “Connect Monday.com”
3. Authorize the connection
4. Select your workspace

Permissions Requested

Monday.com OAuth grants access based on your account permissions. Projan requests the minimum scopes needed to create and manage items.

What Data is Accessed

• Board names and IDs
• Column definitions (for mapping task fields)

Data Storage

• Encrypted access token

Disconnecting

Go to Settings > Integrations > Monday.com > Disconnect.

Token is purged immediately. Also revoke from Monday.com: Admin > Apps > Projan.

Troubleshooting

Items not appearing

• Check that you have edit permissions on the target board
• Verify the board is not archived

Descriptions as comments

• Monday.com has no native description field for items
• Task descriptions are added as an update (comment) on the item

Subtasks not supported

• Monday.com’s subitems API has limited support
• All tasks are created as top-level items

Categories not mapped

• Monday.com does not have a native issue type concept
• Categories are not directly supported; use status columns or groups for organisation
