Overview

Export task breakdowns from Projan plans to Todoist with labels, priorities, and parent task relationships. Tasks are organised within your chosen project.

Prerequisites

• Todoist account (Free or Pro)
• Projan team admin or individual account

Setup Steps

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Todoist
2. Click “Connect Todoist”
3. Authorize the connection
4. Select a default project (or create a new one)

Permissions Requested

Scope	Purpose	Access Level
data:read_write	Read projects and labels, create tasks	Read/Write

What Data is Accessed

• Project names and IDs
• Labels

Data Storage

• Encrypted access token (no refresh - Todoist tokens are long-lived)

Disconnecting

Go to Settings > Integrations > Todoist > Disconnect.

Token is purged immediately. Also revoke from Todoist: Settings > Integrations > Projan.

Troubleshooting

Labels not appearing

• Labels are created automatically on first export
• Check that your Todoist plan supports labels (Pro feature for custom labels)

Duplicate tasks

• Check if the export has already completed
• Projan does not deduplicate across multiple exports to the same project

Parent tasks

• Parent task linking is supported
• Categories become labels (e.g. @epic, @feature, @bug)
• Default priority is Normal (p4 in Todoist)
