Overview

Export generated documents from Projan to SharePoint sites, and import existing pages and files as conversation context for AI grounding.

Prerequisites

• Microsoft 365 account with access to the target SharePoint site
• Projan team admin or individual account

Setup Steps

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > SharePoint
2. Click “Connect SharePoint”
3. Sign in with your Microsoft account and authorize the connection
4. Select a site and library during export

Access is always bounded by the connected user’s own SharePoint permissions - Projan cannot see sites the user cannot see.

What Data is Accessed

• Site and document library names
• Pages and files you explicitly attach as context sources
• Documents created by export

Data Storage

• Encrypted access and refresh tokens
• Imported context snapshots stored on the conversation they are attached to

Tokens auto-refresh - no re-authentication needed unless access is revoked in Microsoft Entra.

Disconnecting

Go to Settings > Integrations > SharePoint > Disconnect.

Tokens are purged immediately. Previously exported documents remain in SharePoint unaffected.

Troubleshooting

“No sites found”

• Verify the connected account has access to at least one SharePoint site

“Access denied” on export

• The connected account needs contribute permission in the target document library

Conditional access errors

• Some tenants restrict third-party app access; your IT admin may need to approve the Projan app in Microsoft Entra
